So it made sense that our Robot gang needed a (not so) furry friend of their very own.

Dach is our adorable wooden dachshund, made from hand-smoothed sustainable hardwood. He’s ready and raring to go running through fields and forests with your little one. 

Dach is designed with Montessori and Waldorf principles in mind, and specifically made for unstructured play. A versatile companion with which your child can create whole worlds, develop their cognitive skills, and learn about the world around them. 

And you don’t have to scoop any poop!

Dach’s polished body is tactile and sensory, and his floppy ears give him a quizzical look. He’s always ready for a little mischief! 

Finished with natural oils and dyes, you don’t need to worry about exploring mouths either. Based on natural plant oils and waxes (sunflower oil, soya oil, thistle oil, carnauba wax, and candelilla wax), paraffin, drying agents, and water-repellent additives. The dry finish is safe for humans, animals and plants (resistant to saliva and perspiration acc. German DIN 53160, suitable for children‘s toys acc. EN 71.3).

Care and maintenance:
We use only natural oils and wax for polishing and finish so the wood can breathe and keep its good qualities for many years. In case of soaking it is possible for the wood to bristle. If that happens don’t panic! Simply allow the toy to dry up and polish with a cotton cloth until it becomes shiny again. Finishing oils will do their job to keep the wood healthy.
