The world champion Lotus 25 is created by our craftsman Ivan using maple, cherry, and walnut. Sustainable woods that we love for their variation in colour and texture.
With customisable colour options, you can bring home a whole team of racers, ready to compete against each other for your very own kitchen Grand Prix!
Like all our natural toys, our Lotus car is inspired by Montessori and Waldorf principles of child-led learning and open-ended play. Meaning these cars can turn their wheels to any challenge. From a death-defying obstacle course made out of sofa cushions and books, to a playground speed run.
And they’ll last longer than the real version around Silverstone! Follow our care instructions, and your F1 car can make it through more championships than Lewis Hamilton. A perfect toy for small hands to grab, and a beautiful keepsake to adorn your home when play time is over.
Finished with natural oils and dyes, you don’t need to worry about exploring mouths either. Based on natural plant oils and waxes (sunflower oil, soya oil, thistle oil, carnauba wax, and candelilla wax), paraffin, drying agents, and water-repellent additives. The dry finish is safe for humans, animals and plants (resistant to saliva and perspiration acc. German DIN 53160, suitable for children‘s toys acc. EN 71.3).
Care and maintenance:
We use only natural oils and wax for polishing so the wood can breathe and keep its good qualities for many years. In the case of soaking it is possible for the wood to bristle. If that happens don’t panic! Simply allow the toy to dry and polish with a cotton cloth until it becomes shiny again. Finishing oils will do their job to keep the wood healthy.
