Toto is Titi’s twin brother, smaller than his older siblings, and perfect for introducing child-led learning to your tiny tots.

We design each of our toys with Montessori and Waldorf principles in mind. Each one is made to help your child break away from prescribed plastic play, and open up the world of unstructured play.

Send your sturdy robot friend off across the living room river on our wooden raft, or put on a puppet show with your robot family. Toto is ready for anything your child’s imagination can throw at him.

Toto is made of hand-smoothed sustainable hardwood, tactile and sensory. His cotton or hemp ropes are easy for little hands to grab, and his simple features invite children to hours of unstructured play.

Finished with natural oils and dyes, you don’t need to worry about exploring mouths either. Based on natural plant oils and waxes (sunflower oil, soya oil, thistle oil, carnauba wax, and candelilla wax), paraffin, drying agents, and water-repellent additives. The dry finish is safe for humans, animals and plants (resistant to saliva and perspiration acc. German DIN 53160, suitable for children‘s toys acc. EN 71.3).

We use only natural oils and wax for polishing and finish so the wood can breathe and keep its good qualities for many years. In the case of soaking it is possible for the wood to bristle. If that happens don’t panic! Simply allow the toy to dry and polish with a cotton cloth until it becomes shiny again. Finishing oils will do their job to keep the wood healthy and shiny again.
